The Ordinary Unseen -Tohoku-
“Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.” − Albert Einstein
The Disaster areas must be full of energy from all people whose lives were taken away suddenly by the tsunami. I pursued capturing the radiance of their energy in this work because I believed that it was the beauty I felt in there.

entry description
On March 11th 2011, the big earthquake and tsunami happened in Sendai, Tohoku area in Japan where I lived. When I went to the devastated area by the tsunami on March 17th, I had no idea what to photograph. Everything was destroyed. Small towns became the wilderness by wiping out by the power of water. Debris was everywhere. Sadness was everywhere. I kept going back to the damaged areas to photograph and seeing the changing seasons. The mountain of debris became bigger and bigger. In my sight, everything was still broken but I eventually noticed there was something beautiful there which never be broken by anything.“Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.” − Albert Einstein
