entry description
Commonly known Yin-Yang conception is directly meant as "lightened place, sunlight vs shaded place, darkened". Series presents mutual effect of yin and yang, as seen on final photography in a bit different form than circular formed symbol. These are its opposites, but every part contains a root of another. Simultaneously they absorb each other, transform, transist from light to dark. It shows the whole yin and yang pallete, interdependent and coexisting. There's no shade without light. The series comprises of architectural details found in the Virgin Mary Sancturarium in Krosno, Poland, a place with no conservator's care, but still beautiful and alive. about the photographer
My name is Piotr Wyrzykowski, currently living in Olsztyn, Poland. My education credentials are in the area of landscaping and real estate management with occupational experience in project management. Project orientation helps a lot in understanding processess of my supreme passion, photography. Since my main subject is landscape and nature photography, planning is a key factor of finding a perfect frame. I spend a lot of time exploring local trails, visualising all elements - the sun, the moon, weather and stars on the sky, all of them to primarily present a perfect subject of photography. I try to be as versatile as possible, therefore my portfolio has no unique technique or style. I like macro photography, not forgetting to place a bug's life in his environment. I love good architecure in photography, a pure and simple forms. I like astrophotography in landscape. When possible I try to capture wildlife and nature. Using various focal lengths - from fisheye to telephoto, capturing different scenes - from macro to ultrawide lanscape panoramas, I present my point of seeing things I love. That's Warmia mostly, a region I live in. Come and see, it's small but plentiful.back to gallery
