The New York Trilogy
'SKYLINE' -
Liquid movements -
Longitudinal jolts -
Thou metropolis, by glows you are shaken! -
And your secret is tricky under that blue cloak. //
THE EMPIRE -
I am the Empire. -
But you, human being, can’t you see me? -
As I’m drenched in seductive lights, -
and protected by ochre mist ? -
Still I know that you’ll dare -
to overcome the Gotham’s uproars -
and push yourself -
up to my silent summit. //
THE BROOKLYN BRIDGE -
We are two thunderbolt and we must dart. -
Fly like glares on the other side. -
We must not let ourselves cajole -
by these sine waves -
by these metallic cataract. -
On the other side, without thinking -
Beyond, to know. //

about the photographer
Daniele Corsini was born in Bologna in 1975, he likes to photograph cities around the world. He got to know the United States where he began in New York which he considers is 'the capital of the world'. In the 'Big Apple' he shot three photographic visions that culminated into 'The New York Trilogy'. Back in Europe he dedicated reportage to the most important cities of the Old Continent. Great interest has been shown in Marseille,The European Capital of Culture 2013, with a series of images that evoke the many faces of the city. Currently the exhibition 'Le Grand Bleu - Marseille Provence 2013' presented in Milan, then in Turin, Bologna, Rome and Naples continues its path in various other Italian cities. “I take shots pursuing an initial idea that captured me, which has grown in me. And I shot the picture simply because I do not understand what will be of it or what will come of it”.back to gallery
