VINTAGE PEACE
When: July 13, 2014
Subject: Pier
Originally planned to capture Milky Way that night, but due to Full Moon, I ended up taking this beautiful long exposer 6 Frame Panorama shot of a Port Mahon Pier. Lighting was just perfect, sun was about to rise and I didn't want the pier and the ocean to completely lit up in the bright sun light.
I hope you can feel the total peace I did standing here; the serenity in the moment. That’s what photography is all about to me.
I first began teaching myself photography in 2008, mainly from reading magazines and then putting into practice techniques while on location. This informal training enabled me to develop a unique style that continues to make my photographs instantly recognizable. My knowledge is entirely self-taught; I have never received any formal photographic training.
