I spent many wonderful hours photographing animals coming to waterholes in the Etosha National Park on a recent trip to Namibia. This was a particularly special moment when this herd of endangered black-faced impala nervously approached and lined up to drink. One was particularly nervous and reluctant to lower its head and this made the photograph by breaking the pattern nicely.about the photographer
Richard is a Professional Fine Art Nature Photographer. He was brought up in East Africa and developed a passion for wildlife and the natural world through his childhood experiences there. He now regularly returns to Africa, leading photographic safaris. When not travelling, he is based in the South-west of the UK and writes books and articles on photography.
