People watched on as thousands of Lanna-style lanterns, which are made from rice paper was released into the night sky. This was a time to pay respect to the higher deities. The lanterns filled up the sky with a warm light that made me feel like time had stopped completely.about the photographer
Entirely self-taught, Singapore-based Joseph Goh started his journey into photography later in life than many, only acquiring his interest in the craft six years ago at the age of 32 after purchasing his first digital SLR in 2008. Driven by the urge to make his mark, he’s spent the time since then acquiring the skills he needs to run his business and entering numerous international competitions, success in which has helped him to acquire an international reputation. He’s also taken part in many exhibitions, while his work has been widely published in magazines all around the world. With his keen interest and great passion for photography, Joseph believes in sharing his knowledge with other like-minded photography enthusiasts through talks, workshops and judging in photography competitions.back to gallery
