Anxiety
I've been taking photos since I was about 15 years old. Art was something that I always loved growing up, and I honestly had no idea how to express myself at a young age other than drawing. It wasn't until I moved to Beaumont from Tennessee when I took my first photography class in high school, because it was the only art class that was available. If it weren't for that opportunity, I have no idea where I would be today. From there my passion grew, and I discovered an entirely new way to create and appreciate art.

entry description
Every day is a constant struggle. It sucks to constantly question numerous aspects of yourself, what you're doing, and what could happen next every single day. Living with an anxiety disorder is like living with shackles around your ankles; you never completely feel free, even inside your own head. It's like there's something or someone watching you, making sure to notice your mistakes and criticize you for them until those little mistakes become nightmares. In this series, I create unrealistic settings to bring to life my personal experiences with GAD (generalized anxiety disorder).about the photographer
