entry description
After being involved in fine art landscapes for a considerable time, I decided to put perspective and personal vision literally through the lens. The "distorted visions" series represents my turn to a rather unusual and subject-wide aspect of landscape photography. Be it the sense of "now" or a mental evocation of the past, we always focus to a single spot in the frame and this experience is very effectively implemented by using tilt lenses, selective focus and pinhole techniques. The dreamy effect gives a sense of "transient memory" as many parts of the frame are only implied and left to the viewer to interpret. Also, working in black and white enhances the sense of depth and emotion to each artwork.back to gallery
