Thumbelina's World_Untitled
She was born of a flower and called roses her home. Morning dew, golden pollen and drifted aroma delighted her senses. The dainty, colorful petals all around wove her dreams and enriched her soul.
With the first ray of sunlight, an enchanting world of fantasy revealed.
I macro photograph roses in my garden. Ignoring the physical beauty of the flowers, I concentrate on the magic created by sunlight peeping through layers of colors. With meticulous selections and fine-tuning, surreal pictures of Thumbelina’s vision come to life.
Embedded in all shapes and every shade, there are tales waiting to be told. With light in hand, photographs could be as expressive as paintings, as fictitious as wings of imagination.
Subtle hues, blurry shapes and grainy textures offer neither guidelines nor suggestions.
Perception is subjective and interpretation knows no boundaries.
With diverse background, my approach towards photography is unconventional.
My works showcase the endless plays of shades and shapes in micro scales, transcribe the surreal universe of my imagination.
