entry description
This series of work, Porcelain Myths, is about the idea of mythology and how my own mind perceives it. Using some inspirational thoughts from the poem Sibyl by John Howard Payne, I made a version of what I pictured he could’ve been talking about. The All White sub-series is based around 1 of the 5 designs I’m making for the larger series. Everything within the piece was handmade by myself, with assistance from my makeup artist Tori Hall, to finish the look. I am very inspired by this beautiful fantasy feeling to photographs and I definitely see this as the beginning of a long road ahead. This sub-series was shot on April 15th 2017, in Studio, at the Savannah College of Art and Design.about the photographer
