entry description
Calm Shore was shot with a Canon 5D Markii, lens type 16x35mm wide zoom. Shooting in mode manual with an aperture value of 22 and drive mode is self-timer operation. ISO setting was 100, AF mode manual focusing. Calm Shore is a 15 minute exposure with a Hoya HMC 82mm NDX400 attached to my lens. This was one of those being in right place at the right time. It was August we were visiting family in Sarnia. I had been to this location many times before but just taking in the sun and playing on the beach. This day I ventured out it was pour rain and the clouds had a great look to them. I say lucky because there was literally no wind at all which is very unusual for this location. I set up my big golf umbrella in the sand, my plastic sheet to sit on and then went to work on this image. Thank you for your time and the opportunity to showcase my photography. CHEERSabout the photographer
I am a photography based just north of Toronto Ontario. I have had a passionate for photographic art since 1990 when we opened our first art Gallery and studio. The art of photography is light and with that light source I am constantly challenging myself to get the most out of every subject that I engage. My imagery is shot out on location at many different places across Canada and the United States. I also love to shoot in studio this is where I have some fun creating mood with my photography. My goal is to capture the ever changing environment that surrounds me and by photographing it I can tell a story about how I see the world we live in, this why I love photography.back to gallery
