Inside Iran
This journey was taken by myself and my friends Pippo, Roberto and Vante in 2014, when Iran’s diplomatic relationship with the West was improving. Leaving Italy, and crossing Greece and Turkey, we rode through the mountainous region of Kurdistan descending into the heart of Persia, to then ascend the region inhabited by the Azeri people. In addition to having seen fabulous landscapes. Visited interesting places far off the beaten tourist track. Come into contact with a society encompassing a vast human potential. What will always remain in my heart is the enchanting and natural hospitality of the Iranians.
Beautiful photographic images – taken by other people – have always touched my heart. So, when I take beautiful ones, I enjoy sharing them.
Travel interests me very much, not as a holiday, but as a means of discovery and to learn. I have visited over a hundred different places, all with my camera, many on my motor bike.
I currently work with NGOs and non-profit organisations, volunteering my photography skills.

A motorcycle is still, for me, my favourite means of travelling. It offers me the perfect balance to get to know people and take me quickly and unencumbered to many fascinating places. This journey was taken by myself and my friends Pippo, Roberto and Vante in 2014, when Iran’s diplomatic relationship with the West was improving. about the photographer
My passion is photography; my work is in another field although I often use my camera for my professional activities. I have been looking through a camera lens for about forty years, using it to concentrate what I find visually interesting. I use my eyes to observe, scrutinise, seize the moment and shoot. When I am lucky, I do it with the camera too.Beautiful photographic images – taken by other people – have always touched my heart. So, when I take beautiful ones, I enjoy sharing them.
