entry description
This picture was taken in August 2017 in Girardot's suburbs, Colombia . There is a place called the "Golden Mountain" because there are trees called Chicalás that have yellow flowers. The chicalás bloom once a year, in August. The allegory consists of portraying to the cactus as the trunk of the chicalá, in a contrast between the fragility and the hardness, between the eternity (the cactus) and the ephemeral(the flowers of the chicalás). The force is in the union of two forms of life that coexist in this magical place.about the photographer
