entry description
In October two years ago, in 2015, I photographed this portrait of Sabina. At the time, I was working on a photography project which showcased refugees that came to Norway as children during the Bosnian war between 1992 and 1995. The reason for why I wanted to photograph the children, now young adults, is because they were too young to have any idea of what was going on and why they had to flee their homes and country. The name of the project is "Bosnia: refuge twenty years later".This image is photographed on my old Hasselblad 500cm. When I use this camera, the whole portrait situation change; I wanted to take my time with this sitting to justify the person in front of the camera. This image is a scanned Chromogenic colour print.
