entry description
Bow Fiddle Rock is a natural rock formation near Portknockie on the north-eastern coast of Scotland mad of Quartzite, a metamorphic rock. Besides its unique shape and composition, the rock is a nesting place for sea birds including herring gulls, great black-backed gulls and lesser black-backed gulls. The natural and untouched atmosphere I felt being there was almost overwhelming. The birds flying and cawing on the rhythm of the waves crashing on the rocks put me on a pause stage, out of time. I finally turned of my camera and standed there feeling and listening.back to gallery
