changing scenery
Despite always being keen on photography since an early age, capturing images whilst on family holidays. I had never considered taking this interest further, until 2004 when my interest in photography was reawakened during a family holiday to Brittany, with its many stunning seascapes. In time I started to attend local college evening courses and seminars looking in to different aspects of photography, covering areas such as general digital photography, Macro photography, Studio and on location Portrait photography.
In 1994 following a military accident I was left with several disabilities, not only had I lost the left side to my field of vision in both eyes, I only have the use of 1 hand and full movement of 1 leg making the selection of my photography equipment more difficult and important to me, as I always aim to be able to cope in varying situations and weather conditions on my own during a photo shoot.
