entry description
2/4/2017 This was my second night at Horseshoe Bend, the first had been a bust and I was hoping for something spectacular. I arrived a solid 3 hours before sunset to stake my claim to the prime location. I found it and didn't move, I waited. Finally the moment was almost there, the sun was reaching the point I had been waiting for, the conditions looked great except that one cloud, would it move in front of the sun? It did... The light was gone my heart sank. I knew there was only minutes left before the sun would sink behind the cliffs and my shot would be lost. I waited... 20 seconds, 30 seconds a minute... It felt like forever. Then the cloud moved and with only one minute or so left I shot 5 different exposures of the glorious light at is shown across the scene. Moments later it was gone, the show was over.about the photographer
