Moin Hamburch! | Elbphilharmonie | Hamburg | Germany 2016
At this morning I`m not satisfied with the result of my Elphi photograph. The perspective is the same than a year ago and the sunrise isn`t beautiful. I am walking the Strandkai up and down until I realize, the perspective 10 meters to the right is different and much better today. A couple of buoys are new in the scene and also some barges are moored at the peer. This perspective feels much better today and the result is even so. However I have a good time enjoying the city of Hamburg this morning and are going home with a photograph I like. It may seem trivial, but that is one of the reasons I enjoy photography so much. Having a good time with yourself, settle down, think, observe your environment and create a photograph which is very much a reflection of your experience and mood this morning.

entry description
It is around a year ago since my last visit at the Strandkai and it was painful to get up at 5.30 in the morning. As much as I do love spring and long bright days, getting up before 6 a clock is a torture for me. But after a while I always start enjoying it. The city is empty, no cars on the streets. It is up to me to explore the city, hope for a nice sunrise, take a good photograph and watch the city awakening, first Joggers running at the Elbe and first dog owners to walk their dogs around the block…At this morning I`m not satisfied with the result of my Elphi photograph.
