entry description
The portraits are of the members of the Singapore Rowing Club immediately after a morning training session. These rowers train six days a week despite their day-jobs (very few Singapore athletes are professional) not just to be able to compete internationally, but also because of their fierce passion for the sport. The location of the portraits was Pandan Reservoir, home of the club. Training typically begins at six every morning. This series of rowers are part of a larger ongoing project consisting of portraits about sportspeople and martial artists who are passionate about their sport or art.
