entry description
This is a photo taken of a young boy who has Anopthalmia, a condition where the individual is brown without eyes. His name is Truitt and he is a family friend of mine. It begged so many questions for me as I captured his dream-like state. This is an image I will never be able to show him, in fact he will never know what he looks like. I captured him in the water because that is when he feels connected to the world. A world he has no idea of what it looks like. As I stared down at him, and his up at me with that inquisitive expression, I wondered how he views the world even though he has never seen it.about the photographer
