To Dive
" To dive" into the intimacy of a scene that offer at you, it's set the shutter quickly in manual mode, hands trembling, heart pounding and let the magic work, because the photographic lens will set up a whole world in itself, for whoever will know surrendering oneself at an artistic medium.
The author has seized this ephemeral, a summer memory, a family memory, by the pool, under a blinding light.
These images are part of a longer series, which were taken on the fly, translating a mise en abyss of the author's feeling, where the director would be the shutter speed, like a poetic counterpoint to Henri Cartier-Bresson.
Imposing one's own vision of the scene that is being played out in front of one's eyes while seeking to detach oneself from the constraints linked to the retranscription of an objective reality, is the relationship between the artist and the reality of the photographic image and her ability at produce an abstraction, in an objectified consciousness of Self, allowing the author to construct a narrative of an aesthetic experience.
In a desire to build a layout, a set in reference to G. Deleuze and W. Worringer, who envisage through the concept "Kunstwollen" (or Art will ) the union of abstraction with the intuitive form communication with the world (or "Einfühlung"), thus highlighting the conjuncture between the Art and the life of the artist.
