entry description
Living in Switzerland you would think snow is a part of every winter days. But climate change has taken its toll in our beautiful mountain environment. You now have to reach greater altitude to see precious white «gold». As a canadian and true lover of snow and cold weather conditions, I’m always on the look out and anxious for the rarer snowfalls, in great expectations to change my surroundings. In this past year a much awaited snowfall happened. The start for a winter photographic episode was imminent, a rendezvous with nature and silence at the high mountain pass in the Jura Mountains, canton of Bern in Switzerland. I was blessed with this spectacle of mother nature presenting to me its magnificient landscapes in various shades of white.about the photographer
