Blyth Lighthouse
My love of landscape naturally led me to pursue a bachelors degree in Photography in Newcastle, where I learned the technical aspects of my art.
Still running a business in the construction sector which takes me around the UK, I look for every opportunity to find beauty in the landscape around me, to show the world. This, of course, doesn't mean I don't take the camera everywhere else I go.
I also have a love of pushing the boundaries of Landscape Photography and use methods like long exposures and different editing techniques, to take my photography into the realms of digital art, rather than a representation of what the eye sees. These images are designed to take elements of the landscape and process them to provoke thought and emotion.

entry description
September 2018 I was travelling along the northeast coast., As I was passing through Blyth I spotted the lighthouse at the end of the pier. I found the lighthouse has peaceful aesthetic, standing strong on its concrete plinth as a beacon of light providing safe passage over time as its wooden access walkway and iron handrails corroding.about the photographer
