fragility of the physalis

entry description
These are the photos of physalis fruits with husks. As a child, I used to draw this fruit as I was fascinated by its shape, and especially its unique texture. I liked the variety and contrast between the dry and fragile outer layer and the smooth, firm and glossy fruit inside. In this still life series, I used black-and-white reflective and non-reflective backgrounds, with just one light source from the side. I shot in black and white as I wanted to achieve a surrealistic atmosphere, and even an anthropomorphic feeling.about the photographer
