entry description
This series of aerial (via helicopter) photographs captures the skin of the island. The photographs reveal the scars and wear that have been inflicted on the landscapes of the Hawaiian islands. This group of images were captured over the island of Kaho'olawe, an island that was almost destroyed by human impact. This series is part of a larger body of work ʻĀina: Threshold 4º F that is documenting documenting the human impact upon the Hawaiian Islands.about the photographer
