Arctica circle, an other world
I love this image as I found myself in the snow for hours and with no one around me. I felt like human had disappeared and it therefore strengthened the feeling of being privileged and alone. Mountains, snow and all the elements were gathered to match a great end result.
Since, Photography has fulfilled my life, not yet financially, but personally and innerly. I do not plan to stick to landscapes though I love it. I do believe that as a photographer, such type of expression is a great opportunity to keep learning and discovering other types of photography and therefore use different techniques, cross skills so the end result is less formal and more creative.
This is what it's all about, freedom of thinking, feeling and creating and hopefully, sharing all this with as many people as possible.

entry description
During the winter, in the Lofoten, Norway. What a windy day. Clouds were pushed by a strong wind, light was appearing and disappearing and the snow was flying everywhere. The sea in the fjords was very much agitated.I love this image as I found myself in the snow for hours and with no one around me. I felt like human had disappeared and it therefore strengthened the feeling of being privileged and alone. Mountains, snow and all the elements were gathered to match a great end result.
about the photographer
After 23 years of working mainly for the United Nations, putting my dreams of becoming a photographer on the side, life has given me the opportunity to focus on photography and travel as I always wanted. The past four years have been dedicated to discovering myself as a photographer and although wildlife has always been the main subject, I started with landscapes. Though, I do not wish to limit myself to take landscapes photography as I let myself be very instinctive the way I photograph. Therefore, it can be some abstract image using landscape or more poetic scenery using pieces of the landscape as the story. I do not think too much of what I am looking for but mainly feel various type of images that do cross my mind and therefore I can feel where to go, what time of the day, of the season. This allows me to be innovative, where my personal emotions drive me through some areas I had not in mind before.Since, Photography has fulfilled my life, not yet financially, but personally and innerly.
