Circo España
The following Saturday evening, I bought a ticket and ventured inside the hot pyramid of canvas. Along with a sparse gallery of parents and children, I was treated to a spectacle of dare-devilry and laughs. The troupe of South American trapeze artists, acrobats, dancers and clowns entertained us thoroughly.
To the children in the audience, I imagine it will be a dazzling and larger-than-life memory. I can no longer view the circus through my childhood eyes, but I tried to capture a morsel of the artistry and magic through my camera.
I love to write. I love to take pictures. I love to travel. This is my Holy Trinity.

about the photographer
My grandmother spent her entire life on a dairy farm. She never traveled more than a hundred miles from her home. When I would show her one of my pictures of the Tetons or Alaska, she'd say, "David, I'll never get to see those places in my lifetime, but I get to see them through you." Just as with my grandmother, I hope my photography transports people to the far corners of the earth, as well as the local "Hole in the Wall.I love to write. I love to take pictures. I love to travel. This is my Holy Trinity.
