Yin and Yang
When I started my journey from Fremantle to photograph the rock, I did not have too much expectations, but when I arrived I could not believe it. A giant of stone in a semicircular bay, with sunset just behind the rock itself. Perfect.
On the day of my arrival it was very cloudy and stormy. The sea was rough and hit huge waves. I was looking for a suitable foreground when I already felt the tremendous power of the sea. The waves beat against the rocks and water washed in every corner. I felt the power of Mother Nature and was as intimidated as pleased with the spectacle. A moment where I felt very small - absolutely nothing I could have opposed that.
A great experience!
On my second day, everything was completely opposite. The sea was calm, there was no wind and the place suddenly had a calm and relaxation vibe, that I could hardly believe.
Photography was a little easier that day, as I did not have to be careful all the time, that I was washed away.
It was a change from one extreme to another. I really enjoyed both situations. I hope I could capture the different mood in the photos.

about the photographer
I'm a full-time traveller who likes photographing landscapes and architecture. I love the challenge of reproducing the atmosphere and highlighting small details by choosing unique compositions. With a penchant for the mystical, I invite the viewer for a short daydream while seeing my pictures.back to gallery
