Life in plastic
I had several group and individual photo exhibitions in Croatia and abroad.
In 2008 I graduated on Faculty of Political science in Zagreb, department TV journalism
and public relations. After graduating I was working in Argentina, Belgium and France as
a lecturer and coordinator assistant on audiovisual European projects.
I have a master degree both in audiovisual and film production as well as in audiovisual
and film directing from French universities Paul Valery III in Montpellier and ESAV
(Ecole supérieure d'audiovisuel) in Toulouse.
Last five years I am working as a freelance TV journalist, filmmaker, photographer, camera
operator as well as a lecturer on film workshops for children. I directed and co-directed
several short creative documentaries and promotional films. Documentary film „Where have all the smiles gone“ is my most ambitious project which puts into focus modern slavery and migrants from Nepal. I am currently working in Brussels on different audiovisual projects for, BBC, ICF Mostra, J.Walter Thompson and Bruzz international as a journalist, editor and video director as well as a selector of long feature films on Festival International du Film de Bruxelles. I fluently speak English, Spanish and French language and I have good working proficiency in German and Dutch language.

I took these photos while giving audiovisual tranining in Accra, Ghana. It was really difficult to enter this area in Jamestown, Accra because it is considered little bit dangerous. I have never seen something similar, young boys and girls playing and jumping in plastics as if bottles were their toys. Most of plastics came from Senegal and it was brought by local people. Unfortunately that dont have lots of places in town to recycle so most of them throw the plastic bottles near the beach.about the photographer
