entry description
As New Zealand's largest glacier, the Tasman, slowly melts into the Tasman Glacial Lake, these waters flow along the Tasman Valley floor, eventually bringing their impossible blue waters to Lake Pukaki, which inherits an impossible turquoise hue. I stood at the edge of the Tasman glacial lake, looking back down the valley, as the evening began to fold, the colours of sunset reflected brilliantly off the glacial waters.about the photographer
