entry description
I took the highest gondola in the world over the Glacier du Géant. The 5km journey goes across the Mont Blanc Massif, from the Aiguille du Midi in France to Point Helbronner in Italy. I wanted to document this harsh and dangerous terrain and the brave hikers tackling it. When it wasn't eerily silent, you would hear the Glacier cracking and rumbling. The Hikers are a good point of reference to the sheer scale of this environment. Each year many people lose their lives climbing and hiking this landscape, making these images all the more incredible to observe.Camera: Canon 5D MKII
