Anett Bulano germany
title
Folded Lines
Always in search of objects that people like to overlook, my works are often very colorful, area-filled and opulent. Almost in a painterly aspect.
With time, an impulse developed in me towards the contrast, but to remain true to my style. The structures, forms and diversity in nature have always had a great influence on me, thanks to which I have expanded my view and way of thinking by reducing and working with graphic elements.
Undergoing the fascinating field of make-up effects, Anett used her talents to work as a freelancing artist for movie productions,
theatres, opera houses and music festivals all around Europe.
Meeting and working with such unique and talented people,
it inspired Anett to look even deeper into the psyche of humankind and the urge to create art.
Her artistic creations feel like expressive, abstract paintings,
are in fact macro and close-up photographs,
in which she combines iconographic interpretations of mythological subjects
and literary figures – in an almost bird’s-eye like view.
