THE DARK BEAUTY – GHOST SHIP SERIES "NATALIA"
On December 19, 2018, the captain of the dry cargo ship Natalia called for help at 04.30. The ship drifted to the shore due to a severe storm. At 09:00 in the morning, the ship hit the rocks in the Karaburun region of Natalia. 16 personnel on board were rescued by the General Directorate of Coastal Safety.
I was born 04.Nov.1967 in Switzerland. I live in Istanbul/Turkey.
I’m interested in photography since childhood time.
long exposure and black and white photography was not very popular in my country. So I wasn’t able to do it professionally. I still continue shooting as a amateur photographer. I think black and white photography is the best technique that shows you the purity in human and in nature.
On a colour photo of a smiling person for example, you only see the smile. But on a black and white photo you see the reality behind that smile.
It’s the same with nature, you see the power of nature on a black and white photo.
I see a divine light in black and white photography..
