entry description
This primary school yard in Kreuzlingen was designed by Swiss architect by Beat Consoni. It's another fine example of contemporary concrete architecture in Switzerland, also known as "Swiss brutalism". Despite being a rather rough and cold material, Beat Consoni´s concrete designs are always very sense and aesthetic. I was lucky to catch the right moment where the sun shines right through the skylight, creating a perfect interaction of minimalistic concrete, shade and light. In my opinion, these rare poetic moments are the true essence of architectural photography and make me happy again and again.back to gallery
