Jorge Monaco
Jorge Monaco photographer jorgemonaco.com.ar Born in Buenos Aires in October 1957, he has developed an extensive teaching career, leading courses, workshops, and seminars at various institutions throughout Argentina. His works are held in official and private collections and have been featured in numerous group and solo exhibitions.

He has taken part in Photography Symposiums held in his home country and abroad. His works have been exhibited in: Argentina, China, Australia, India, Macao, Belgium, Hong Kong, England, USA, Turkey, Canada, Malaysia, Scotland, Singapore, Portugal, France, Philippines, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Ukraine, South Africa, Romania, Germany, Sri Lanka, Spain, Japan, Italy, Estonia, Austria, Mexico, Russia, Switzerland , Korea, Poland, Uruguay and Kazakhstan.

Since 1995, he has served as Director of ENFO Escuela Nacional de Fotografía in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He researched and carried out extensive work on pinhole photography. In 2002, he received the National Arts Fund Research Grant for his essay “The Mennonites.” Acquisition Award for the second best work of the 109th National Visual Arts Salon 2021, Argentina.
