The Streets of New York City
Higher, wider, more colorful. Full speed. No break. Manhattan is full of a vibrant spirit and energy. My images show this spirit and are as vibrant and energetic as the city itself.
My images are located at busy road crossings in Midtown Manhattan.
I searched for places where the essentials of a vibrant city are combined.
I chose backlight situations and a high range of dynamic to create images full of light and contrast. To show the full size of the city the images are shot in a wide angle.
The subject is framed by the square format, to give a neutral extract out of the city life.
