Waves
This series is a study of waves. Waves are individually as unique as people are unique. Waves are born from storms in cold southern and northern oceans. Like most living things, their energy comes from the sun. However, waves are not living things. They are pure kinetic energy, visible only because of the effect their energy has on the ocean’s surface. They are a phenomenon that exists because of the sun, and I find them beautiful and fascinating. They travel for thousands of miles to reach a shore, where their journey ends in the act of breaking and rolling onto the sand.
