Hazard Rocks is the unofficial name for coastal rocks that lie at the end of Hazard Avenue in Narragansett, Rhode Island, USA. The rocks can be dangerous at high tide, hence the designation. This image was captured as the sun crested the horizon. There was just the right amount of clouds and haze in the sky for this amazing display of colors.
I first began teaching myself photography in 2008, mainly from reading magazines and then putting into practice techniques while on location. This informal training enabled me to develop a unique style that continues to make my photographs instantly recognizable. My knowledge is entirely self-taught; I have never received any formal photographic training.
