The Divine Comedy
Directly experiencing the consequences of economic crisis during the last 10 years, it is not difficult to observe an increasing crisis of the values which are the moral bedrock of the individual and by extension of society. This tendency leads the person to an intentional and gradual isolation. At this point the arts play the most important role by helping people to communicate with each other, to exchange ideas, feelings and beliefs. With a few words it influences and is influenced by the individual and society. The individual, society and art are three elements of a triangle of opposing and influencing forces. The normal coexistence of them offers a situation of balance on an individual and social level.
My personal work depends exactly on the function of that triangle. The basic goal is to show through my art how the other two elements (the individual and society) influence each other. Is there anything that can provoke a kind of destabilization of this normal function? How possible is it for an artist to approach the inaccessible part of the soul? How possible is it to make that part more conceivable by the conscious through art? How can the person know themselves a little better?
The basic idea of my artworks focuses especially on the concept of the permanent interaction of creation and destruction. This phenomenon that exists in almost every aspect of life was and still is of great inspiration to me. We are living in a society of more and more deepening crisis. We run out of family, social, friendship and educational values. People feel like loser, lonely, hopeless. At this point the role artist is getting even more important. Getting influenced by Art the individual becomes able to find out the real meaning of Life, to come closer to his Ego, to define and understand his feelings, emotions, thoughts with the primary aim to achieve and offer himself the desired balance.

entry description
The unconscious is the warehouse of memories and thoughts which the conscious does not want or cannot recognise. It has been the inspiration for many artists throughout the history of art. Its existence and its role acquire even greater significance in times of crisis because human reactions and instincts tend to take the form that is defined by the archetypes, given that they enclose a legacy of attitudes, thoughts, superstitions etc.. This heritage passes through generations and is being continually enriched with new features, influenced by individuals and society.Directly experiencing the consequences of economic crisis during the last 10 years, it is not difficult to observe an increasing crisis of the values which are the moral bedrock of the individual and by extension of society.
