entry description
Constant Resurrections is a series produced in early 2010 and is a still ever on-going project. The array of images were influenced by Rene Magritte's works known as "The Lovers", which was driven from his mothers death as a young child. The collection of images of Constant Resurrections was about a rebirth, a notion of unrequited love, and the psychological fear of being alone, or having to share your "being" with another. Many of the images were compiled from repressed memories throughout my childhood or trauma. The cloth is to signify a blank slate that the viewer is allowed to submit themselves into and become "one" with the subject throughout the piece.about the photographer

In terms the imagery is a quotation of part era’s: borrowing aspects, concepts, and styles, combining contemporary practices.back to gallery
