Entry descriptionThe old jetty at Port Willunga is a well photographed spot on the coast of Adelaide, South Australia however it is usually photographed at sunset with the setting sun behind. With this image I wanted to capture the serenity of this spot and emphasise the weathered posts of the old jetty and the textures in the sand.

About the photographerI am a photographer from Adelaide, South Australia who loves capturing the beauty of this world through photography. I enjoy the outdoors and nature, and photography provides me with a medium to capture and share this with others. I love creating images that portray the beauty of this planet and its landscapes, wildlife and people. I strive to conjure up feelings in the viewer that I felt at that moment in time.

When I'm not out exploring and appreciating the great outdoors, and photographing this amazing Earth, I can be found behind a desk as a software developer/architect/consultant, or with my son Angus and wife Mandy.
