entry description
Beautiful view of Jalmahal during sunrise. I wanted to capture the palace and other two water structures also in the frame. Thats why I have used an ultra wide angle lens to capture this frame. Not many tourists visit the place at dawn, so the location is bit peaceful early in the morning. And locals visit the lake in the morning and feed the pigeons and fish in pond. These pigeons keeps flying across the lake once in a while, which I used to fill my frame.about the photographer
I am Ravikanth Kurma, born and brought up in a small village named Jaggannapeta in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. Currently working in Chennai. Art has been something that has always come to me naturally. Right from childhood I had a great interest in sketching, painting and things that required creativity. I'm an avid traveler too. I like to sit and watch the beauty of nature and always wanted to freeze that moment and the best way to do it was through a camera. This photography bug caught me during my weekend hiking trips. And soon it turned into an enthusiastic passion. Currently I spend most of my weekends photographing and traveling to new places. My dream is to travel every corner of India. I like to capture surrealistic landscapes and people in candid moments during their daily routines. I always look for unique view of perspective in capturing photos in a way that it describes and speaks for itself. And this gives me utmost satisfaction as this passion of photography demands me to be more creative and helps me to strive even harder towards capturing picture in the best possible way through my camera.back to gallery
