Calla lilies
For this series I was inspired by the work of Robert Mapplethorpe and his master printer Tom Baril.
His work focuses on the concepts of time and decay, tranquility and silence. He strives to capture serenity and encapsulate the ephemeral quality of calmness. He rarely succeeds.
