The photo was taken in what is now a ruin, the only remains of what was once a cinema the place in which people gathered to watch pictures in motion which is what I, as an amateur photographer aimed to do only with a little twist such as creating my own film through multiple photographs with the help of a dear friend who channeled her inner actress. This photograph stood out in particular for me because although her eyes are barely visible, the whole face resembles the tenderness, the unforgettable mimic of an actor who brings the past of the building to life in a present which lacks interest in such a place of creativity as the abandoned cinema.about the photographer
I photograph to understand the world around me. Through the lens I perceive what is invisible to the eye and that is the inner workings of people's souls, their thoughts as well as the universe in which their daily actions occur.
