entry description
Forests both mythical and real have been part of peoples’ lives for centuries. They serve as a setting for enchantment and danger, growth and awareness, protection and shelter. For me, forests are a place where time becomes ambiguous as one remembers the past, sees the present, and wonders about the future. I direct my attention toward the forest’s vivid greens, capturing the mysterious and fantastical atmospheres found in isolated scenes within natural environments. The intent is to reveal a sense of place, an emporium that borders on the imaginary.about the photographer
