Waiting Room
In 1999, I briefly returned to photojournalism when the opportunity arose to cover the Kosovo War. In the years that followed, my practice gradually evolved toward documentary photography and eventually into fine art, which now forms the core of my work. My work has also been recognised with awards on different occasions.
Beyond photography, I enjoy exploring other creative forms such as music, GIFs, and video.

entry description
This room is the social space at the hospice 'Virgen del Rosario' in the rural area that surrounds the Titicaca lake in Peru at 4000 meters above sea level (13000 feet). Over there 13 elderly people in extreme poverty share they're last phase of their lives. I followed the work of Kusimayo, a non-profit association, that cover this shelter's monthly basic needs like food, primary hygiene and cleaning products. Donations vary from month to month and from there depends on the residents leisure activities. This time they've been lucky with colouring books and crayons who some of them enjoys while some others remains absent.about the photographer
