"Chainsaw" is taken from a series detailing the harm that we have inflicted on the environment. The photo itself, taken at Buffalo Bayou in Houston, portrays a bridge warped into the form of a chainsaw, with trees dotted along the outside. The consequences of constructing new roads and bridges such as the one portrayed are enormous. Such construction projects lead to widespread deforestation and the loss of valuable nature and wildlife. Through this photo, I sought to call attention to the plight of many of America's native forests and woods.back to gallery
