Wonders of the microworld
I usually, when it is possible, try to take photographs of not isolated microorganisms but with a piece of their habitat. This set of the micrographs shows the individuals representing various groups of them.

The images present the photographs of the various microorganisms taken with the microscope . Thanks to special ways of illumination called polarized light, dark field and both ones used together you can obtain the microworld in beautiful colours unseen during simple bright field illuminated observation.I usually, when it is possible, try to take photographs of not isolated microorganisms but with a piece of their habitat. about the photographer
I am a biologist by education. I am not professional photographer but the photography is my passion. My favourite kind of photography is takin g photos of small and tiny subjects. My photographic real passion is photomicrography. I use various special techniques of illumination such as polarized light, dark field, bright field and mixed techniques. I take photographs both living microorganisms and microcrystals of various substances. I espacially love microcrystals photographying because they give a great opportunity of my own interpretation the image seen in field of view. Apart from absolute abstractional images I look for such images which remind the parts of our big, ordinary world. I love sharing my way of seeing of the microworlds with other people.back to gallery
