entry description
find it important to pay attention to the most neglected, even rejected objects in my surrounding. Photography is a means to do so - to catch the beauty and meaning of the simple and the mundane. Weeds in my backyards and the local flora on the sidewalks are examples of those almost unseen, even disturbing to some, objects in the stream of daily life. I cherish them in simple recycled vases and love the beauty they add to my home no less than fancy bouquets. I watch the processes of their bloom and decay. In this series I pay a tribute to the processes of growth and of growing old.back to gallery
