After long walks in the Langhe countryside (Piedmont - Italy) looking for abandoned places, I wanted to tell the emotions and wishes experienced for myself by entering into this lonely rooms, full of charm. I made it through animals, to paint the situations of a dream, suspended in time.The works are the transfiguration of the places through the emotions, combined with what I would expect to see. The use of the post-production techniques has not been intended to amaze with the spectacular, but to create a dreamlike atmosphere in which my images, i hope, are able to convey a gently poetic message
about the photographer
Paolo Vergnano (1969, Asti) is a biologist, lives and works in the town of Alba. He is the protagonist of several collective and personal exhibitions, he was the winner and finalist of prestigious international awards. His artistic research is expressed through photography as another form of the tale. He believes that the ultimate goal of art is to inspire, to raise questions, to investigate where reality and science are vacillating.
